No. Hearth & Kin is a home-management concierge service. We do not provide personal care, nursing, medication assistance, or other regulated caregiving services.
We primarily serve independent older adults and families who need trusted local help managing the home.
No. Hearth & Kin is not an emergency-response service. For medical emergencies, always call 911.
If an apparent emergency occurs while we are present, we contact appropriate emergency services and follow the family’s established emergency-contact protocol.
Transportation is not currently part of our service.
No. We do not provide medication reminders, handling, organization, administration, or medical advice.
We currently keep client finances separate. Third-party providers bill clients or authorized family members directly.
Only when the client and authorized family choose to establish an approved access arrangement. All access is documented and handled according to the agreed property-access protocol.
Yes to both. Hearth & Kin carries business liability insurance, and has completed a background check. Documentation of either is available on request — please just ask. Our coverage does not replace your own homeowner’s or renter’s insurance, which stays in place as normal.
Plans are designed to be flexible. Final cancellation and service terms are explained before enrollment.
