Before founding Hearth & Kin, I spent over 15 years as a Senior Program Manager at a major technology company, leading large-scale construction projects and product rollouts — coordinating vendors, contractors, budgets, and timelines across complex, multi-team efforts. That same skill set — staying organized, catching problems before they become emergencies, and keeping everyone informed — is exactly what a well-managed home for aging in place requires. I bring the same rigor to your family’s home that I once brought to million-dollar rollouts: nothing falls through the cracks.

Over time, I realized those skills could solve a very different kind of problem. Families were trying to help parents remain independent at home while also managing careers, children, distance, and their own responsibilities. A broken appliance, missed maintenance appointment, contractor visit, or small household problem could suddenly become another thing they had to coordinate.

Hearth & Kin was created to be that trusted local point person. Not a caregiver. Not a home-care agency. A dependable partner who helps manage the home itself—so families have fewer things to worry about and their loved ones can continue enjoying the place that feels most familiar.

Why This Work Matters to Me

This started with my own family.

My dad didn’t want to leave the home he’d lived in for years. But over time, he needed more and more help—the kind of help that’s hard to coordinate from a distance, and hard to ask for.

I stepped in to support my siblings and help manage things for him. In doing that, I realized something: this was work I genuinely loved. Not just because it helped my dad stay where he wanted to be, but because I could see how much it meant to my whole family to have one person holding it all together.

Hearth & Kin exists because I know firsthand what it feels like to watch a parent want to stay home, and to want to help make that possible—without it falling entirely on one person’s shoulders.
